Was working on my Zentangle Journal in preparation for an upcoming class.... & a corner of the page begged for some organic tangles! So used it to fill Aura-Leah :-)

Diva's Challenge #347

This week Diva's Challenge involved creating stings on tile with found objects and then Tangle on the tile. Here's my take.....

Used my Sharpner, Cutter, Ruler, Lid of a tin to create String

Weekly Inspiration #121 & some sketch studies

Red-Whiskered Bulbul!!

Me & Mr.A are keen bird watchers and photograph the Avian beauties whenever there is a chance; hence I have a lot of bird pictures that i have been meaning to paint.

So, finally started with some sketch studies in pen & ink.
Hope I continue these studies more regularly from now on!

3T-Tuesday Travelling Tangles & some Grey tinted tiles!!

On the Zentangle India Group, every now and then we do "Tuesday Travelling Tangles Project" or simply 3T!!
It is a collaborative project of Zentangle swap inspired by the Traveling Tangles Project by CZT Stephanie Jennifer.

On a given Tuesday one tangler from the group shall post 3-4 half done tiles for the swap; and anyone in the group can pick up the tile to complete & in-turn send a half-done tile to the swap partner!

This week was my turn to post the Swap tiles!!

I introduced Grey-Tinted tiles in this swap. I hand picked these grey tinted sheets & got them dye-cut from my vendor. The grey tint provides a very versatile surface to work with both black & white inks & also graphite, charcoal pencils!!

Weekly Inspiration #120

We Tanglers from India have a Facebook group called "Zentangle India" where we work on a weekly inspiration every Friday. 

Sometimes the inspiration is a tangle pattern & other times it's a string!

12 DAYS OF ZENTANGLE!!

The Twelve Days of Zentangle series has become a tradition in the Zentangle circles, where we tangle for 12 consecutive days during the Christmas season!! In this series, we borrow a traditional holiday song as a playful way to share fun, little Zentangle projects for twelve consecutive days. 

Although this is a Christmas song, all projects can be interpreted and appreciated by all traditions. 

This year the theme was to take a trip down memory lane and explore the tiles, tangles and techniques as they came into the Zentangle world over the years.

So I have been meaning to start a blog from a long time now, and finally here I am!

This blog will mostly be about my interests in Art and my Artistic Journey.... 

Apart for sketching/painting I love travelling & photographing and watching Birds in their natural habitat.
