A year of being CZT.....

Oh yes! Can't believe it has been a year since I became a Certified Zentangle Teacher :-)
It is one of the best things that has happened to me.

The 4 days of seminar was totally an amazing experience... Lots of learning, new connections made, new experiences!!

Exploring Pattern NVELOPE

For this week's Tuesday Tangle Prompt on Bangalore Tanglers Group, I played with the pattern NVELOPE.... It's a very versatile pattern, loved using it to tangle!

Art Projects of Brooklyn Art Library....

Brooklyn Art Library(BAL) at NY has this amazing collection of over 40000 Sketch Books from artists all over the world!! 

And am all excited to start the new Volume-14 of the Sketchbook Project 2019!!

Received this Vol-14 SB recently.... Exciting New Themes

My previous Sketchbook full of tangles is already part of Brooklyn Art Library's collection Will share images of my previous sketchbook project in a few days!!



Also, I will be mailing out my canvas project to them soon 

The Canvas Project is a limited edition art project by BAL where they have unique Word Prompt for every Artist registered for the project! My prompt was "HARSH" and I interpreted it depicting Harsh Sea wave!! Once the canvases of all artists reach them they will print a book of all works & do a canvas swap!! Am excited to know which part of the world my canvas end up in!!

Hello there!!
So this past week, I created a group on Facebook called the "BANGALORE TANGLERS"
for all the Zentangle Enthusiasts across Bangalore.
In this group, I intend to post about my classes, tangle inspirations & also do a weekly tangle prompt every tuesday to enable all to learn new tangles & to keep up with the practice of Zentangle!!

Also, the group is not restricted to only Tanglers from Bangalore! If you love to tangle you are welcome to join!!

Am super excited about this!! :-) :-)

Worked on some tiles exploring a geometric string for this week's inspiration on the Facebook group Zentangle India.
This is a group of tangle enthusiasts from India & Indians around the world. Here we (me & my fellow CZTs) post a tangle or string inspiration every Friday to keep up with regular Zentangle practice. We are already on our 139th inspiration!! Lot of resource to explore & tangle :-)

TAE was set up by artist David Sandum about 8 years ago to help a library in Moss, buy books for their children's department.
Since then this social media powered art exhibition & sale has raised over $50000 for various charities around the world!!

This year, TAE will be supporting Australian charity Pegasus Riding for the Disabled of the ACT Inc in Canberra.

Happy to share that one of my art work will be part of the charity exhibit & sale! :-)
The exhibit is from April 7th-29th at Strathnairn Arts Gallery, Canberra.

Was working on my Zentangle Journal in preparation for an upcoming class.... & a corner of the page begged for some organic tangles! So used it to fill Aura-Leah :-)
